Summer Warmth - A Vibrant & Elegant Moroccan Inspired Photoshoot

As featured on Bridal MusingsI can’t tell you how long I’ve wanted to share this styled shoot with you here on my blog and now that the images have been published on the fabulous Bridal Musings, I can! This shoot, at the delightful Froyle Park features the work of so many talented suppliers and brings a softer, pastel palette to a Morrocan themed wedding.

Bridal Musings described this shoot as combining ‘all the elegance of an English country house wedding, with the eclectic glamour of Moroccan décor’ and that’s the perfect summation. You’ll find cool blues, warm burnished oranges, elegance aplenty and Moroccan inspired touches in these images and I love the delicate yet slightly sultry look of this dreamy theme.

Hannah McClune, one of my absolutely favourite photographers captured everything from the day in her light and romantic style and Froyle Park was the perfect backdrop.

The flowers included ivory and blue tones and were garnished with bursts of yellow and dark, inky blue Irises. The foliage garland that ran down the length of the table was dressed with Moroccan lanterns, coloured glassware and ombre, dip-dyed napkins alongside classic white linen and elegant china and cutlery.

This shoot was full of exquisite touches, all overseen by Lovestruck Wedding Planning + Design. From the ceramic tile escort cards by Judy Broad Calligraphy to the mint tea leaf favours with their super cute ‘Mint To Be’ labels, everything was pure perfection.

One of my favourite elements of the day was most certainly the stationery from the always-wonderful Paperknots. I love the Arabian-inspired design that manages to be both rustic and glamorous all at the same time! The fresher, brighter tones lift the colour palette and the folding pochette envelope really looks like a Moroccan tile!

I also must mention the stunning wedding cake from Melissa Woodland Cakes. This five tiered delight mixed soft blues with a traditional Moroccan pattern and a waterfall of exotic sculpted sugar flowers. A truly spectacular centerpiece for an utterly fantastic theme.

It was an absolute honour to be part of this shoot – who knows where the next one will take me?!
